Thomas Alva Edison
How often do you and your friends go to the
theatre on the weekends, just to go watch a movie? That motion
picture was originally invented by Thomas Edison, as well as many
other inventions. For instance, the phonograph, the Telegraph
transmitter, and the famous incandescent light bulb. Edison was a
worker who tried many things over and over until he got it right.
When he invented the light bulb he said, “I found out 199 ways not
to build a light bulb.” Unlike many other inventors of his time, he
believed in working with his hands and using his mind at the same
time. “Genius is 1% inspiration and 99% perspiration.”
