Confederate Soldier
I shall rise up for the South that existed
and for my fallen brothers that once fought beside me. I am one of
few that survived that horrific war. I have scars that show my past
and what I fought for. Every time I witnessed one of my
brothers fall, it was like someone tearing my heart out one piece at
a time. The persecution and judgment I face is all a part of today’s
battle of being a true REBEL. Those whom did not see this could not
even begin to comprehend the pain. The flag that we fly, we hold up
with pride and show that THE SOUTH SHALL RISE AGAIN. |
